La Marissa Salsa began when I was a young girl growing up in
Making healthy and authentic food became my passion. I relocated to New England and began preparing food in some of the most well respected restaurants in the Back Bay.
In 2006, I opened a small take out restaurant on the North Shore -
La Marissa Mexican Food.
Although my restaurant eventually closed, my mother and I continued to prepare and perfect small batches of homemade salsa in her kitchen for family and friends.
In December 2008, La Marissa Salsa was introduced to the Produce Team Members at Whole Foods in
Today, La Marissa Salsa continues to be made in small batches with only the finest ingredients. It is my pleasure to bring you the best homemade salsa available. Exclusively at Whole Foods and other fine, natural food stores along the East Coast.
